Apple Hires Expert on Mobile Payments‏

Apple Mobile paymentOver the past decade, Apple has expand its business into a series of industries beside computers, including music, cell phones, movies and books. Now Apple is looking to go further for something else: money.
People nowadays are starting to use digital currency instead of cash in order to save time and simplify the process of transactions. The industry sector of online transaction service is very promising with great growth potential as a result.
According to Near Field Communications World, it is reported that Apple recently hired an expert in the mobile industry–Benjamin Vigier, who used to work with a technology called Near Field Communication (NFC) works. Before joining Apple, Mr. Vigier worked for a company called mFoundry, developing mobile payment services for PayPal and Starbucks, and also working on a project called the mobile wallet. According to Mr. Vigier’s LinkedIn profile, he now become Apple’s product manager for mobile commerce.
