Formula One boss Joins bid to buy Saab

Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone is a bid for the Swedish car manufacturer Saab as part of the struggle.
Mr Ecclestone has been with the Luxembourg team of private capital investment firm Hager, recently at Renault investment.
Saab has sold a loss from the current owner, the U.S. giant General Motors (GM).
Saab also appeared to provide the second movement from the Dutch car manufacturer Spyker.
Swedish newspaper Dagens Industri newspaper also reported that General Motors has received one-third of a consortium bid from Sweden.
The group says, including Haakon Samuelsson, and trucking companies before the implementation of the MAN and Scania, and Jan Nygren former politician and one-time executive with Saab Aerospace.

Mr Ecclestone told the Bloomberg news agency: “[Saab] is a good brand, may have been overlooked by the current owners.”
There are three bids on the table, but the future looks for the Saab’s 3400 workers are increasingly clear.

Spyker Saab bid for the second time, after December 20 of the unsuccessful practices, two days after General Motors said it would shut down the Swedish company, if no suitable sales will agree.
Victor Muller, CEO of Spyker, said: “We believe that the Saab brand has tremendous potential and are eager to close an agreement as soon as possible.”
Mr. Muller, his company only 133 people work, added that he would continue to have a “constructive dialogue with General Motors boss.”
Did not disclose the details is not the number of MG or the Haig and Mr. Ecclestone Saab products.
Time-consuming sales
General Motors, Saab has been trying to sell since last January.
This year in June, General Motors announced that it has agreed to sell to a commercial Ni Saike sports car manufacturers only for Swedish companies, exit transactions in November.
Saab, with 3,400 employees in Sweden, has lost 3.0 billion kronor (pounds 255 meters; $ 412 meters in 2008), and has not made a profit since 2001.
Saab, a member of the Board of Trustees meeting will be held Friday.
The company is due January 11 to resume production after the four-week shutdown at Christmas and New Year periods.
