Revised Bank Outlook Still Optimistic

The Bank of England may have lowered its forecast for economic growth, but even its revised outlook is more optimistic than the predictions of many private sector economists.
The Bank projects GDP growth of 1.6% in 2010, which is down slightly from the 1.7% forecast in May. However, the outlook for growth next year has been slashed to 2.7% from the 3.4% it anticipated only three months ago.
